A letter from Jannion, first course manager, to Geoffrey Lubbock dated 21.08.19 with details of ongoing work on the course, publicity and membership. Mention is made of the use of leaf mould as top dressing for the greens.
This guide was written by Bernard Darwin and features photographs of a number of holes as well as suggestions for how to play them.
The advertisement appeared in Country Life in August 1953. A lease for 40 years was on offer with the option to purchase the freehold after 10 years. Shows views of the clubhouse and first hole.
